As would be expected by any supplier of top quality products, we receive a lot of letters
and emails from customers who want to express their delight with their new Marvin
windows and doors. They obviously tell their friends too, because a large proportion of
our sales come from referrals from satisfied customers.
We have reproduced a small selection of these letters and emails below, with the names and addresses
of the senders and the names of any competitors blacked out. We have also blacked out names of Marvin
Architectural staff, but other than this, they are unedited.

Dear ,
I would like to confirm how impressed I am with the 10 Marvin sash windows
that I have had installed at my property.
Until I visited you at your stand at the Home Improvements show in Wembley
in 2003 I was unaware that your product was available. It amazes me that
people will continue to install uPVC windows in period properties when
Marvin windows are available as authentic wooden sashes with all the
modern requirements for heat containment. They are also considerably
better value than those available from other wooden sash-window companies
in London and compare very favourably with uPVC prices. It is not worth
compromising the overall appearance of a period property with uPVC
windows just so you don't have to paint them.
I will certainly recommend Marvin to anyone and will invest in further
Marvin windows if I need to in the future.
Yours sincerely,

Dear
,
I write to express our sincerest thanks for the excellent service your company
has provided us with, in installing our beautiful Marvin windows. From the very
first telephone call we made to your offices in Dunlavin,
and I were
very impressed by your professional approach. Your sales person,
,
was indeed exceptional in the manner he dealt with us.
He was able to answer absolutely all our queries and, ultimately, left us with no
doubt that Marvin windows were perfect for our project. They were installed within
the promised time scale and are greatly admired by everybody who visits our house. I
have no doubt that many of our friends who intend building their own houses will
certainly consider using Marvin products.
Again, very many thanks to all your staff and especially
and we look forward to enjoying life in our beautiful new house in
, Goresbridge.
Yours sincerely,
&

Subject: Marvin Windows are fab!
Hi
As a result of seeing your company at one of the Building & Renovating shows,
last year we purchased some windows/patio doors from you for our 2 storey
extension. Because I am finishing the extension myself I have not yet
completely finished (only the sitting room to go – yippee). However,
I thought I would just take the opportunity to say how very pleased we are
with your products. They are so well made and everybody comments on them.
They look fantastic. The builder thought they were just so easy to fit -
initially he was a bit concerned - windows from the US – uh oh.
But, in the end he was truly won over.
And not only this, but there was enough decent timber left over from the
packaging to make a nice little CD rack :-)
Also, I would like to thank
for her persistence in staying with us -
yes we dithered, yes we looked at
(ABSOLUTELY NO CONTEST), but she maintained a presence that was never pushy -
but her keeping in touch definitely won our order.
Also, to
for all the help he gave us whilst
was on
maternity leave.
You have a very helpful/knowledgeable team - they offer fantastic support
for the end user.
I have enclosed a couple of snapshots if you are interested.
My only small (very small) criticism (well observation really) is that the
catalogue is geared to the US market - whereas in the UK things are slightly
different. I just felt a one page on exactly what is needed for a typical
UK style window (sills etc.) might have been useful.
Apart from that well done and many thanks again.
Just want to replace all the existing windows now!!!
Regards

I have had my Marvin windows installed today and although I had waited a
considerable time I must say that they were well worth waiting for. I am
extremely pleased and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Well done Marvin Windows and a special thank you to the engineers and
you rep.

Shorter quotations extracted from compliments slips and customer satisfaction surveys etc.:
|
You will be glad to know that your windows garner favourable comments from most of
our visitors, which I assume is not the norm in new house observations. We haven't
many friends currently undertaking building works but we do credit Marvin as the
source of the windows and our complete satisfaction with them.
|
Just a note to thank you for all the help, attention and guidance you gave us when
choosing and ordering our windows.
|
I am happy with the windows and especially would like to complement
and his
team for the efficient no fuss approach they took in fitting them.
|
We are very pleased with the windows and doors which have come in for a lot of
admiration from our friends.
|
Your installer did trojan work and is proud of his work. A rarity nowadays.
|
Marvin windows are the best purchase we have ever made - they are fantastic.
|
Nice people, personal service and the windows work well.
|
Many friends, not in the construction industry, have made favourable comments when
seeing the windows. Adds value to the development.
|
An excellent company with an excellent product. Surprised you don't market
yourself more in the UK.
|
was pleasant, professional and honest - a pleasure to work with.
was wonderful for installation.
I am delighted with the windows. The only concern is cost but you get what you
pay for.
|
Very pleased overall with quality of product and high standard of service.
Several friends have commented on how nice the window are, so always recommend Marvin.
|
Because these houses date back to 1898, you can't just put in any windows you want.
We had to submit plans to Dublin City Council to ensure that the windows were in keeping
with the original style. All the houses on the road are listed and even attic conversions
that are not visible to the front must have period-style staircases, and plans have to be
approved by the local authority.
