Marvin Architectural works with many architects to assist in the design and specification of suitable windows and doors. We can advise on the best way to create a desired effect and help with the detailed specification. We can supply CAD drawings of our products so that they can be simply incorporated into the clients' drawings, thereby saving architectural effort and time.

Northampton

This exclusive home was designed with a large day room screen to take advantage of splendid views of the surrounding countryside. Marvin Architectural worked closely with the architects to produce many options before settling on the final design. This design incorporated many Marvin standard sizes to optimise the economics of the project.

Marvin Architectural produced drawings of structural supports, cill and cladding details to ensure the complete coverage of all structural elements giving a splendid example of a fully integrated large window design. Marvin Architectural carried out all elements using in-house personnel including liaising with the architect, contractors and specialist sub-contractors employed on the project.

The products were Marvin aluminium clad wood windows and doors to produce a warm interior to the completed project.

Swindon

This project required Marvin Architectural to co-ordinate the design of a turret style window structure to feature on the curved staircase of this exclusive family residence outside London. Marvin Architectural designed the position of the structural steelwork to support the roof structure while retaining the desired appearance of the window structure. The successful completion of this project required close liaison with project architects, the building contractor, structural engineers and the client who had refined ideas of the final outcome.

All Marvin Architectural activities were carried out in-house.

Dublin

This project comprises a 90 degree bay window and a bow window in addition to a large number of single windows and doors. The construction drawing layouts for the contractor were agreed with the architect and confirmed on site with the contractor by Marvin Architectural installation personnel to ensure that optimal standard sizes were used to reduce the cost as well as enabling the installation to proceed smoothly. The drawing includes dimensions for block layout and positions for steel structural support positions. All elements were carried out by in-house personnel in Marvin Architectural.
